Our Barnevelders are pipping away at those shells and right on time too, they are a very noisy little bunch - I can sense a troublesome generation here! Hopefully by the morning we'll have 15 fluffly little chicks waiting for us, but, as the saying goes 'don't count your chickens...' There is one particular egg giving us cause for concern at the moment - It's started but not done anything else for the last few hours, and there are one or two that still need to get themselves started. This is seriously an exercise in patience, something at which I am hopeless - it drives Mark mad! I can't cope with not knowing - birthdays and Christmas are agonising, admittedly I am worse than the children for hunting around the house for hidden presents!
Any way back to the purpose of this post, the chicks. I'll post some pictures of our new arrivals as soon as possible - which means I'll post pictures as soon as I manage to take some decent photos.
