All our houses and runs are made to order we ask for a minimum of ten days to build your new house. All our houses and runs use tanalised timber and marine ply to protect against rot. We also offer a bispoke service if you have a design in mind just contact us to discuss your requirements. We offer delivery throughout Cornwall and Devon.

The Dorking walk in Chicken House

This house was designed with ease in mind; the perches are quickly removed for cleaning, the nest box is at waist height for egg collection and the whole house can be swept clean in minutes. There is enough room inside to keep up to 12 large breed chickens cosy, contented and warm. If required an additional nest box can be added to the opposite side for an extra forty pounds.

The frame is constructed using 38x38mm timber, cladded with 15mm shiplap.

The floor and nest boxes are constructed using 12mm hard wood marine ply.

All fixtures and fittings are galvanized.

All timber used is tanalised with a 15 year anti rot guarantee.

This house was designed to be practical and affordable,there is enough room inside to keep up to 3 large breed chickens or 5 bantam chickens cosy, contented and warm. The side lifts up for easy access to collect eggs and for cleaning. The house is raised up on legs to help prevent damage to the floor, makes collecting eggs and cleaning out easier and provides shelter to your chickens.
